Review · Jordaan

Paradox

A sunny corner café with fresh juice and a gentle menu.

Go if…

You want something low-key, with juice and toasties.

Skip if…

You are after a big menu. It is short and simple.

The vibe

Hand-painted furniture, sun through the windows and a kitchen doing smoothies. It is the least intimidating coffeeshop in the Jordaan.

If it's your first time

Very gentle. Short menu, honest strength advice and food to go with it. Tell staff it's your first visit; ask for something mild and start with a few puffs. Wait before having more.
